Rocky Point

I am so glad things worked out and we were able to go with my family to Mexico for a few days. We were all there except for Spencer(had school) and Jared(mission) We had lots of fun. For those of you that knew what Kade was like last year, we saw a big improvement, I think his "big boy" attitude came out when he saw his girl cousins playing the sand and water. Hope you enjoy the pictures!

What are you thankful for?

I just love this time of year when we get to stop and think about what we are thankful for and then move on to celebrate Christ's birth. I am thankful for so many things. We went to Grandma Grant's for Thanksgiving and before we ate every one had to say one thing we were thankful for. I was so glad I got to listen to everyone because it helped me realize how blessed we are, from trials to our families, and the Savior. Even though our country may be struggling we still have a lot to be grateful for. Now that Thanksgiving is over I am going to try to continue to remember all I have been blessed with and the real reason we celebrate Christmas. I am eternally in debt to my Savior for all he did for me. I am also thankful for MISSIONARIES! My mom got our first letter from Jared since he left the MTC for Chili. We have been waiting a long time and we didn't get to talk to him because of flight changes. I miss him so much but I know that he is serving the Lord and I am so proud of him, and the example he is setting. He sent a few pictures, and I wanted to share one with you.(he is so cute)

Its about time!

I know its been a while, but I our computer wasn't working and we have been out of town a lot. I am putting a month of fun times all in one post but different slide shows. Hope you enjoy them.

TEAGAN'S BLESSING
The blessing was great. We had lots of family and THANK YOU to all that helped out! My mom made the blanket, the outfit was Kade's and the shoes were my little brother Jordan's.

KADE'S 2ND BIRHTDAY
I can not believe Kade is already two, he sure has grown up. We went to Mesa for his birthday because Landon had a softball tournament. We got to celebrate with the Spilsbury family. We also had a little party for him with friends and cousins at the park when we got home.

FLAGSTAFF
We went to flagstaff for a Spilsbury Reunion. They dedicated the old football field to Landon's grandpa. It was really neat. They had dinners for us, we watched the parade and got tickets to the game.It was a crazy but fun weekend.

HALLOWEEN
We went to Mesa for Halloween. Kade had a great time trick or treating with Mom, Dad, Aunt Kia and Grandpa, (yes it took four adults to take one kid out)

CASA GRANDE TRI
Landon participated in his 2nd triathlon. He did great! My bro Justin, sis Marlee, her sis-in-law Jessica, and a friend J.J. also did it. Hopefully I will be able to be in the pictures some day instead of taking them.

family update

I forgot how fast they grow. Kade is no longer my little baby, but my boy! He is such a great helper! Teagan had gained a pound in a week and a half and keeps growing! I cant believe how they change! Here are a few pictures to update. Also a lady here in town offered to take some pictures of us so I posted a few of them.

He is here!

I know he is already a week old, but at least I am putting up pictures! Teagan Kris Spilsbury was born on Aug 26th at 7:06pm. He weighed 8 lbs. and was 20 inches long. Landon and I went to the hospital at 6am because the doctor wanted to try an inversion (to turn)because he was still breech. We had tried so many things, and they didn't work. This was our last chance. The doctor has to physically turn him from the outside by pushing on my tummy!! It was very painful. He said he would try it, and if it worked, induce right away, if not they would let me go home and when labor started I would have a c-section (I didn't want that) Well after trying five times the baby co-operated and the pitocin was started. I labored well with just Landon until around 1:30 then called in a dear friend who is a mid-wife to help, I wanted to have him naturally. With her helping Landon and I out, we made it. I was able to have the birth I wanted (well almost, wasn't planning on the breech part). I know I wouldn't have been able to do it without Her and Landon! Anyways our family is know a family of four and we love having Teagan in our home. I was worried a little about Kade, but he loves having a baby, and loves to help me when he can. Enjoy the pictures and when I have time I will post more!

Marlee's BUG

Last Saturday Landon caught Marlee's bug and participated in his first triathlon. My brother Justin and a friend J.J. also participated. The course was 800 meters in the pool, 13 miles on the bike, and then a 3 mile run. They all did great. Marlee will soon have all the family doing them if we aren't careful! Here are a few pictures!
